Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl is a retro Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Beat-Em-Up companion title to the Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch game available for the Nintendo Switch and on the PC through Steam. Arcade Edition will be released on PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox One and Series X/S with an update coming for the Nintendo Switch and on the PC as well.
What’s happenin?
Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl features 2 player co-op action with an 8-bit aesthetic and gameplay style similar to action brawlers on the (NES), particularly River City Ransom (1989) and Double Dragon II (1988). Mall Brawl was conceived as a free digital bonus game for backers of the crowdfunding campaign and available for fans who want to pre-order the deluxe edition of Chronic Blunt Punch.
A limited physical collector’s Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) cartridge will be available through Limited Run Games and will be playable on the original NES as well as other compatible retro Nintendo Entertainment Systems.
Mall Brawl is available on The Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam. May 2021 Mall Brawl will be available on Xbox One/ Series X/S and PlayStation 4/5.

Why are you guys making a different version of the game? Are you finishing Jay and Silent Blunt Punch?
We are making Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl for a couple of reasons.
- We want to reward backers of Chronic Blunt Punch since the game is taking longer due to early investor challenges.
- Limited Run Games teamed up with us to help produce the NES cartridge and game in order to raise funds to finish development for Chronic Blunt Punch.
- Mall Brawl is not taking our time away from Chronic Blunt Punch as we are teaming up with Spoony Bard Productions on this version of the game.
Are Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl and Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch the same game?
No. Mall Brawl is a companion piece prequel that takes place before Chronic Blunt Punch. It has similar, but more limited combat, different enemies and simplified aesthetics that allowed us to put the game on a NES cartridge and release it digitally through Steam and on the Nintendo Switch.

Jay and Silent Bob: Mall brawl retro cartridge wasavailable through Limited Run Games, but is no longer available. The proceeds went go directly to the development of Chronic Blunt Punch.
